3K versus cold forged carbon
Our Jitsie carbon fork protectors are available in two premium finishes: 3K carbon and forged carbon. Both are manufactured from genuine carbon fibre and offer the same excellent protection, strength and lightweight performance. The difference is purely in the appearance.
3K carbon
The classic carbon fibre look, featuring the familiar woven checkerboard pattern. This timeless finish is often found on factory race bikes and high-end performance components, giving your bike a clean and technical appearance.
Forged carbon
Forged carbon is produced using randomly oriented carbon fiber pieces, creating a unique marbled pattern where no two parts are exactly alike. Its modern, high-end appearance has become increasingly popular in motorsport and the automotive industry.
Which one should I choose?
